SoSoak was designed to be a safer alternative to regular shower chairs, therefore it does need to be used in a flat surface bathing area, such as a standard shower. Using in a bathtub is not recommended because of potential slip or fall risks, as well as drastically reducing the stability of the chair.

The front of the seat is at 18” above the floor line, and the back of the seat is at 16”. The slight angle of the seat is what allows water to collect and pool in the uses lap.

SoSoak was designed to fit into the standard shower size of 30” wide by 60” deep. At its widest point (the base of the legs where they meet the floor) SoSoak is 23.5” wide.

Nope! You can simply use this as a shower chair, and use or not use the drainage plug or included shower hose as you see fit.

Unfortunately, personal bathing devices such as a shower chair are not covered by insurance. We are however an eligible HSA/FSA purchase and can be fully reimbursable if you have either of those types of accounts.

Yes! The SoSoak Shower Soaking Chair is flame sealed and completely non porous, therefor can be easily cleaned with an antibacterial wipe or mild soap and water between uses/users.

Yes, permitted it is recommended or approved by your doctor. Epsom salts, PH balanced soaps, and vinegar can all safely be used in the SoSoak basin.

If you find that SoSoak Shower Soaking Chair is not a fit for you, you may return your unused chair in it's original packaging, accessories box unopened, within 14 business days of receiving your item to receive a full refund. *Customers are responsible for return freight.*
