The seat sits about kitchen-chair height (18" front, 16" back). If the person you care for needs help standing, plan for a grab bar or a second set of hands, as one caregiver noted in her review.

How high is the seat?

The front of the seat is 18" off the floor and the back is 16". The slight angle is what lets water collect and pool in your lap.

Can more than one person use it?

Yes. The chair is flame sealed and completely nonporous, so it cleans easily with an antibacterial wipe or mild soap and water between users.

Is it covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?

Shower chairs aren't covered by insurance, but SoSoak is an eligible HSA/FSA purchase and can be fully reimbursable if you have either account.

Will it fit my shower?

SoSoak was designed for the standard 30" × 60" shower and is 23.5" wide at the base of the legs. It needs a flat floor and isn't for use inside a bathtub.

Why does it cost more than a regular shower chair?

It's a medical-grade soaking system made in the USA from rotomolded materials, the same kind used in hospital equipment, and built as a single seamless piece to last for years. It's designed to replace multiple cheaper products.

What is the return policy?

If you find that SoSoak Shower & Sitz Bath Chair is not a fit for you, you may return your unused chair in its original packaging, accessories box unopened, within 14 business days of receiving your item to receive a full refund. Customers are responsible for return freight.
